Isaiah is listed among the Major Prophets because it has 66 chapters.

Being categorized as a Major Prophet isn’t decided by the exact number of chapters a book has. In Christian tradition, the Major Prophets refer to the longer prophetic books, usually Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel, a grouping based on overall length and influence rather than a fixed chapter threshold. Isaiah indeed has 66 chapters, but that alone doesn’t determine its placement in this category—Daniel is often included as a Major Prophet despite having only 12 chapters, highlighting that the criterion is about significance and size as a whole, not a single numerical count. So the statement is false because the designation isn’t solely based on having 66 chapters.
