Christian ethics rests on the truth God has revealed in His Word. This provides an objective standard for what is right and wrong that doesn’t shift with personal feelings, cultural trends, or political agendas. Scripture shows how we should treat others, pursue justice, honor truth, and live holy lives, reflecting God’s character across all situations. While feelings, popular opinion, or government policy can influence decisions, they don’t set the final standard—believers test beliefs and actions against Scripture and seek guidance from the Holy Spirit. So, the truth given by God's word is the foundation Christians use to understand and apply morality.
